Scan Mobile Application from the Store

To create a mobile scan:

  • Click "New Scan" in the top bar.

  • If the application is available on the store, select either "PlayStore" for Android, "AppStore" for iOS, or "AppGallery" for HarmonyOS.

  • If the application is only accessible in a specific location or country, use the country menu to select the appropriate option.

  • Search for the application using its name, package name, bundle name, or bundle ID, select it, and click "Continue".

  • The "Extra Context" step is optional: click "Continue" to skip it.

  • Select the desired scan profile, for example "Fast Scan" for a quick static analysis or "Full Scan" for a comprehensive static, dynamic, and backend analysis. See Mobile Scan Profiles for all the profiles.

  • Depending on the profile, the next steps let you add test credentials, advanced settings, prompts, custom checks and tags. They are optional. If you do not need them, simply click "Start scan" to begin the scan.

  • The scan is created. Follow it from "Scans" in the top bar: it is queued, then running, then done.
